Terms for using ScrollScripture

1 · THE SERVICE

Scripture reading and Christian learning

ScrollScripture provides Scripture passages, reflections, context, learning content, journeys, and related tools. The service is offered free of charge and may evolve over time. It is for personal, noncommercial reading and learning and is not a substitute for pastoral, legal, medical, mental-health, or other professional advice.

2 · ACCOUNTS

Keep account access secure

An account is optional for reading and is used to synchronize likes and saved posts. You agree to provide an email address you control, protect your credentials and verification codes, and notify us if you believe your account is being misused. You may delete the account at any time as described on the account deletion page.

3 · ACCEPTABLE USE

Use the service responsibly

You may not:

• Attempt to bypass access controls or interfere with the service.
• Automate abusive requests, probe for vulnerabilities, or distribute malicious code.
• Use another person's account or misrepresent your authority.
• Remove copyright, translation, source, or attribution notices.
• Use ScrollScripture content or infrastructure in violation of law or third-party rights.

4 · CONTENT AND RIGHTS

Scripture sources and original presentation

Bible translations remain subject to the rights and attribution identified in the app. The New King James Version is presented with its required copyright notice and API.Bible attribution. Other translations may have different rights. ScrollScripture's original reflections, design, branding, and software may not be republished as a competing service without permission.

Personal sharing through the provided share tools is welcome, subject to the displayed attribution and the terms of the destination service. If you believe content infringes a right or contains a material error, contact support@scrollscripture.life.

5 · NOTIFICATIONS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Delivery is not guaranteed

Notifications are reminders, not time-critical alerts. Apple and device settings control delivery and may delay, group, or suppress them. The service also relies on cloud, analytics, Scripture-source, and distribution providers whose separate terms may apply to their services.

6 · AVAILABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS

A living service

We work to keep ScrollScripture accurate, secure, and available, but do not promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. Content may be corrected, withdrawn, reordered, or become unavailable. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and without warranties not expressly stated in these terms.

7 · CHANGES, SUSPENSION, AND LIABILITY

Protecting the service

We may limit or suspend access that threatens users, security, rights, or service operation. We may update these terms and will revise the effective date for material changes. To the extent permitted by law, ScrollScripture is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss arising from use or inability to use the service. Nothing here limits rights that cannot legally be limited.

Additional Apple terms

If you obtain the iOS app through Apple, Apple's applicable App Store terms and standard licensed application agreement also apply. Apple is not responsible for providing ScrollScripture support. Questions about these terms can be sent to support@scrollscripture.life.
