ACCESSIBILITY
Scripture should be easier to reach
We are working to make ScrollScripture usable across different devices, languages, abilities, and ways of reading.
OUR APPROACH
Designed for flexible reading
ScrollScripture uses native controls and semantic web structure where practical. The iOS experience is designed to work with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, increased contrast, Reduce Motion, and device orientation supported by the app. The website supports keyboard navigation, visible focus, semantic headings, readable contrast, and responsive layouts.
Readable content
Scripture and reflections remain scrollable when text is enlarged, including longer posts that extend beyond one screen.
Assistive technology
Interactive controls use labels and logical grouping. We continue testing screen-reader navigation and announcements as features evolve.
Language and direction
English, French, and Arabic are supported, with right-to-left presentation for Arabic content where available.
Motion and notifications
Notifications remain optional, and operating-system preferences control alert delivery. Motion is used for orientation and should not be required to access core content.
ONGOING WORK
Tell us where access breaks down
Accessibility is an ongoing practice, not a one-time claim. If a screen, control, translation, image, or interaction creates a barrier, please tell us what you were trying to do, which device and assistive technology you used, and where the issue occurred.
